As I waited for the bus I remembered that I had forgotten to drain the glass of soft drink on my kitchen bench. Fortunately it was sugar-free so ants wouldn't go for it. The extended warm season had drawn ants into my home past summer. I hoped there wouldn't be an infestation waiting for me on return.
At KLIA2 I had a 4.5 hour layover. My flight landed before the scheduled 0400 but fortunately my body clock was 2 hours ahead. I killed a bit of time in the terminal before breakfast. KLIA2 has come a long way from the humble terminal for budget carrier Air Asia. It's still the major user but other airlines like Jetstar also use it. Lots of thrify travellers were sleeping on the carpet in corners.
I had a chicken rice breakfast at the food court just opposite the transit hotel, handy to know for the return leg.
The flight to Colombo was uneventful. As it was a budget airline, most people didn't get food. I received a tandoori wrap, included on my ticket. Some people had pre-ordered entertainment in the form of a tablet loaded with movies.
